Aspire Performance Consulting is a Thunder Bay, Ontario company that specializes in mental skills training for peak performance. Aspire works with athletes and teams, helping them learn mental skills to achieve higher levels of performance. In addition to sport, mental skills can benefit individuals in many performance-oriented fields, such as the performing arts, emergency services, academics, and business.

Nick Alderton

Nick became interested in the mental side of performance at a young age. In his youth, he competed in numerous sports including golf, hockey, squash, volleyball, and badminton.

Nick completed his masters degree in applied sport psychology at the University of Ottawa, where he studied under several world-renowned consultants. Since graduating in 2013, Nick has consulted with athletes in hockey, golf, basketball, curling, volleyball, triathlon, canoe-kayak and numerous other sports. He has helped athletes mentally prepare for regional, provincial, national, and international levels of competition. Nick is a Professional Member with the Canadian Sport Psychology Association.
